Responsibilities
- Coordinate with design teams, system engineering, test, and manufacturing personnel to meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
- Create EMC control plans and requirements for systems and components.
- Oversee implementation of RF and self-compatibility requirements.
- Evaluate product designs to ensure compliance with EMC requirements.
- Develop test strategies for EMC verification and generate test documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers for design and test activities.
- Author technical and engineering memos and maintain relevant documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Experience in EMI/EMC analyses and testing.
- Project management experience with complex technical projects.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Willingness to obtain a US government DoD security clearance.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and EMC test methods.
