Responsibilities
- Lead on-site commissioning and warranty activities for Siemens locomotives.
- Assign daily tasks to technicians and oversee task execution and safety protocols.
- Track and report weekly performance metrics to management.
- Perform and supervise mechanical and electrical repairs on locomotive systems.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex failures.
- Implement Siemens quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary on-site Siemens representative, fostering strong customer relationships.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience in field service or technical operations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
