Responsibilities
- Configure and test RTU/PLC for protection and controls schemes of Medium and High Voltage substations.
- Develop new application solutions with IEC61850 or other communication protocols.
- Design and support the elaboration of Control Logic Diagrams and Functional Design Specifications.
- Prepare and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Serve as a primary customer interface, providing troubleshooting and commissioning support.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Travel 50-75% for project assignments and requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/computer science engineering.
- Three years of engineering experience in power automation for electrical substations.
- Ability to read and understand DC and AC schematics for Medium and High Voltage substations.
- Knowledge of relay products and associated software.
- Experience with communication protocols such as IEC61850, DNP, Modbus, etc.
- Factory and Site testing experience in automation and control systems.
- Preferred knowledge in Siemens Power Automation products and programming skills in relevant languages.
