Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer at Siemens will support operations by implementing Standard Work and process improvements, focusing on manufacturing processes and production line enhancements.

• Analyzes product specifications and clarifies requirements with R&D and Product Management.
• Develops modifications to increase production efficiency and contributes to re-engineering.
• Provides detailed information on product specifications and components.
• Plans equipment layout, tools, and designs manufacturing workflow.
• Analyzes manufacturing sequences and recommends product changes.
• Conducts improvement projects and liaises with other engineering functions.
• Ensures appropriate process and product documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
• 8+ years of Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar MRP system.
• Ability to measure, design/specify, and install production fixtures.
• Experience in safety, quality, delivery reliability, and cost improvements.
• Ability to travel 5%.
