Responsibilities
- Design and develop medical devices utilizing cryogenic technology.
- Create drawings and layouts in SolidWorks for prototypes and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on project development.
- Perform sustaining engineering work, including standards compliance and component obsolescence.
- Write technical documentation, including requirements and testing methods.
- Maintain FDA compliant Design History Files (DHF).
- Participate in complaint investigations and failure analysis of products.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Three years of experience in a relevant role.
- Knowledge of developing medical devices for high-pressure liquid nitrogen transport.
- Experience with mechanical design of disposable medical devices.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, CFD, and FEA.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 processes.
- Ability to write product specifications and test protocols for Class II & Class III medical devices.
