Responsibilities
- Apply lean principles to design and optimize manufacturing processes for safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Perform detailed time studies to analyze production processes and identify improvement areas.
- Conduct value stream mapping and lead Kaizen events to eliminate waste.
- Develop documentation and deliver training programs on lean tools like 5S and Kaizen.
- Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce waste in materials, time, and processes.
- Lead and manage projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes with project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or greater in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 1-2 years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer in manufacturing.
- Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Preferred experience with manufacturing systems simulation and SAP or similar MRP systems.
- AutoCAD experience and 6 Sigma certification are advantageous.
