Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end electrical design from concept to production for robotic shoes.
- Collaborate with the firmware team for architecture and code review.
- Work with mechanical engineers to design integrated electro-mechanical systems.
- Write firmware scripts and example codes to validate hardware solutions.
- Travel to overseas manufacturers to assist in prototype production.
- Optimize PCB design for motor control and minimal EMC.
- Conduct board bring-ups, testing, and reworking as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in PCB design and component placement for motor control.
- Preferred experience in three phase BLDC motor control (FOC).
- System integration experience with embedded systems, electronics, firmware, and software.
- Proficient in using MCU and IC devices and their peripheral circuitry.
- Comfortable designing and testing board-level power supplies.
- Proficient in standard electrical engineering tools (scopes, digital analyzers).
- Experience with Altium Design and basic low-level programming for hardware validation.
