Responsibilities
- Provide engineering related design, analysis, and studies for projects.
- Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies.
- Perform power factor analysis and correction, harmonic modeling, and grounding analysis.
- Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
- Work in the field on shut-down, startup, and maintenance projects under Field Services team direction.
- Utilize power system modeling software such as SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, or EZPower.
- Ensure clear communication in English with customers and co-workers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in power studies including short-circuit and arc-flash studies preferred.
- Proficiency in power system modeling software.
- Knowledge of low, medium, and high-voltage systems up to 500 kV.
- Field experience with substations or switchgear is desirable.
- Utility design experience is a plus.
- Availability for occasional travel is a plus.
