Responsibilities
- Provide engineering-related design, analysis, and studies for various projects.
- Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies.
- Perform power factor analysis, harmonic modeling, and grounding analysis.
- Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
- Work in the field on shut-down, startup, and maintenance projects under the direction of Field Services.
- Produce commissioning scripts, technical reports, and scopes of work.
- Utilize power system modeling software such as SKM and ETAP.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred focus in Power Systems studies.
- Experience in short-circuit and power quality studies is preferred.
- Knowledge of low voltage applications and field experience with industrial distribution equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and co-workers.
- Availability for occasional domestic and international travel is a plus.
- Experience in utility design is a plus.
