Responsibilities
- Provide engineering-related design, analysis, and studies for domestic or international projects.
- Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies.
- Perform power factor analysis and correction, harmonic modeling, and grounding analysis.
- Frequently interact with customers to gather critical information and review engineering plans.
- Occasionally work in the field under the direction of the Field Services team on shut-down, startup, and maintenance projects.
- Produce commissioning scripts, technical reports, switching procedures, equipment operation procedures, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Travel to local customer sites routinely and occasionally out of town.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Power Systems studies.
- Experience in short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, and power quality studies preferred.
- Proficiency in using SKM, ETAP, and power system modeling software.
- Knowledge of low voltage applications.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Field experience with industrial distribution and utilization equipment, UPSs, generators, and switchgear.
- Utility design experience is a plus.
