Responsibilities
- Help originate novel concepts and technologies for new products.
- Collaborate with the team to define solutions that meet product requirements.
- Assist in design studies to address technical or consumer issues.
- Build test rigs and support verification and validation testing.
- Drive the search for better solutions to engineering challenges.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Product Design, Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- Passionate about product design and function.
- Familiarity with CAD programs (ideally SolidWorks or Creo) and hands-on prototype development.
- Experience with basic machine shop tools and small appliance electronics.
- Ability to autonomously identify and solve technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience in prototype building and experimental testing.
- Desirable experience with developer kits like Python, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi.
