Responsibilities
- Originate novel concepts and technologies for new products.
- Collaborate with the team to define solutions for product functional requirements.
- Participate in design studies to address technical or consumer issues.
- Build test rigs and support verification and validation test plans.
- Demonstrate curiosity and drive to find better solutions.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Manage multitasking and shifting priorities while focusing on long-term projects.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- Passionate about product design and function.
- Exposure to CAD programs (SolidWorks or Creo) and 3D printing/laser cutting.
- Hands-on prototype development experience with basic machine shop tools.
- Familiarity with electronics and components common in small appliances.
- Ability to identify and solve technical solutions autonomously and in a team.
- Experience with developer kits like Python, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi is desirable.
