Responsibilities
- Coordinates and reviews consultant and manufacturer submissions for electrical systems construction.
- Completes pole analyses and field design work for NESC compliance.
- Prepares detailed engineering drawings, maps, and schematics.
- Acts as a lead engineer and fields questions from other engineers.
- Collaborates with supervisors on special projects.
- Provides instructions and answers to field crews regarding design issues.
- Communicates with customers to address complications and provide updates.
Job Requirements
- Requires an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
- Two years of electrical engineering experience.
- Familiarity with NESC, CADD programs, and electrical distribution design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work as part of a team.
- Valid Washington State driver's license.
- Possession of a Fundamentals of Engineering certificate is desirable.
