Responsibilities
- Support the generator interconnection process schedule and ensure milestones are met.
- Assist with the submission of interconnection requests and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
- Track project budgets, timelines, and documentation in coordination with development and finance teams.
- Review and administer executed contracts, and interact with counterparties.
- Support commercial negotiations and develop tools for disseminating interconnection costs.
- Interface with transmission owners and providers to drive project success.
- Learn electrical designs and support reviews of interconnection studies.
Job Requirements
- A BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited program.
- Preferred internship or co-op experience in generation interconnection or transmission planning.
- Experience in running power flow analysis is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Earth, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to travel (10%-15%).
- Enthusiasm for learning and becoming a Project Developer.
