Responsibilities
- Provide support and direction for systems and assemblies from development through production.
- Document and provide technical support for suppliers and technicians.
- Train assemblers and technicians in new processes.
- Maintain and upgrade work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with the Operations team on workflow and equipment planning.
- Improve and maintain processes for manufacturing medical laser products.
- Participate in new product development and ensure design for volume manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
- BS in Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a medical environment and knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
- Familiarity with QSR documentation, ISO 9000, and Solid Works preferred.
- Skills in fixture/tooling design, BOM and MPI management.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
