Responsibilities
- Provide support and direction for systems and assemblies from development through production.
- Document and provide technical support for suppliers and technicians.
- Train assemblers and technicians on new processes and procedures.
- Maintain and upgrade work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Participate in planning workflow and equipment placement with the Operations team.
- Improve and maintain manufacturing processes for medical laser products.
- Define and execute projects for product and process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Five years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
- BS in Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a medical environment and knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
- Familiarity with QSR documentation, ISO 9000, and Solid Works preferred.
- Skills in fixture/tooling design and BOM creation.
- Strong leadership and teambuilding abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
