Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will work closely with the technical team to develop and support aesthetic medical laser systems at Sciton, located in Palo Alto, California. The role involves electronic design and compliance testing.

• Engage in electronic design and simulation.
• Select parts considering obsolescence, availability, and cost.
• Design PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Develop embedded controllers (ARM).
• Design system wiring harnesses and cables.
• Conduct hardware and software testing.
• Oversee system compliance testing and prototype builds/SMD rework.

• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
• Experience with high voltages (up to 1000 V) and high currents (up to 400 Amps).
• Proficiency in switching power supply design.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Preference for candidates with experience in the medical aesthetic industry.
• Ability to work effectively within an engineering team.
