Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and characterize electrical systems at the PCB level for medical devices.
- Conduct electronic device bring-up and characterization.
- Test and qualify electronic hardware, especially PCB-As.
- Investigate feasibility and prototype new concepts.
- Document and communicate design and testing processes clearly.
- Interface with cross-disciplinary teams, including microfabrication, software, and biology.
Job Requirements
- Experience in electronic system design with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and FPGAs.
- Proficient in PCB design using tools such as Altium and OrCAD.
- Strong understanding of power management in battery-powered systems.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, SDIO).
- Experience in designing power and size constrained systems.
- Skilled in low noise analog sensor interface design.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field (PhD preferred).
