Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities for ETO switchboards and power distribution equipment.
- Create detailed 3D models and mechanical layouts using CREO.
- Generate and maintain mechanical drawings and documentation adhering to standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as UL and NEMA.
- Translate customer specifications into sound mechanical designs.
- Develop mechanical concepts and modifications for custom configurations.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and project teams on product design projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience with industrial equipment or electrical distribution systems.
- Proficiency in CREO and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills across engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes.
