Responsibilities
- Analyze mechanical systems and design innovative solutions using various fabrication methods.
- Oversee product development from design to implementation, monitoring progress and reporting to management.
- Evaluate mechanical designs for flaws and recommend modifications.
- Prepare detailed drawings and participate in prototype manufacturing.
- Conduct tolerances and stress-analysis studies, developing testing procedures and reports.
- Develop testing methods to troubleshoot mechanical or structural flaws.
- Ensure design implementation and testing processes meet quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, materials science, and fluid dynamics.
- Proven experience with product development and the product life cycle.
- Proficiency in CAD and finite element analysis software (e.g., SolidWorks, FEMAP).
- 3+ years of experience designing complex mechanical systems.
- Experience in developing innovative solutions for mechanical problems.
- Ability to mentor and guide engineering teams effectively.
