Wastewater Operations Engineer

The Wastewater Operations Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor is responsible for collaborating with process engineering teams to analyze equipment failures and improve maintenance models. The role focuses on ensuring reliability and maintainability of systems in the wastewater treatment plant.

• Collaborate with UPW-IWT Process Engineering teams to analyze equipment failures and reliability metrics.
• Drive improvements in maintenance models and system designs.
• Utilize Quality and Reliability tools such as Pareto Analysis and FMEA.
• Study performance data to drive process optimization.
• Lead cross-functional efforts for equipment and system reliability.
• Analyze performance data and develop metrics for operations improvement.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws.

• B.S. in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Preferred semiconductor experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Minimum of 2 years in a Water or Manufacturing Operations department.
• 2+ years driving equipment life cycle improvements.
• Knowledge of Reliability concepts and certifications (e.g., CMRP) is a plus.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
