Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of firmware development workflows and release lifecycle management processes
- Develop test cases and update a tool for product development
- Triage and root cause system, driver, and device interoperability issues
- Develop and debug firmware and software for SSD products
- Debug, optimize, and validate/test SSD firmware on embedded multi-core architectures
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or software-focused Electrical Engineering
- At least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining
- Familiarity with firmware development concepts and embedded systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of C/C++ development for embedded systems is desirable
- Knowledge or experience with ARM or equivalent embedded multi-core microprocessor architectures is desirable
