Responsibilities
- Responsible for project budgets and schedules.
- Prepare specifications, assemble drawing/bid packages, and attend design reviews.
- Provide engineering assistance for equipment field installation, startup, troubleshooting, and warranty claims.
- Lead equipment failure root cause analysis and failure response.
- Act as an in-house engineering consultant and/or advisor in a technical specialty.
- Administer, review, and evaluate technical studies and analysis performed by consultants.
- Conduct written and oral reports and presentations.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of specifying and procuring major substation equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings and standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within SRP and handle multiple tasks.
- A history of building strong relationships with customers.
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
