Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks)
- Conduct engineering analysis such as stress, thermal, and tolerance studies
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering
- Participate in design reviews and team meetings
- Help identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong foundation in mechanical design, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of FEA, CFD, or other simulation tools is a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Prior internship or project experience in mechanical design or product development (preferred)
