Sr Engineer, Electrical Project Engineering

The Senior Engineer, Electrical Project Engineering is responsible for overseeing the electrical systems design for onshore wind, solar, and storage projects in development at RWE Clean Energy, LLC.

• Design of balance of plant packages during development
• Provide engineering project support during pre-construction, construction, and turnover to Operations
• Ensure grid code compliance and interconnection requirements
• Specification and evaluation of major balance of plant electrical equipment
• Conduct power system modeling and studies
• Coordinate project engineering topics during construction
• Manage 3rd party engineering consultants

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
• Experience in transmission design, substation design, and renewable generation project design preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables
• Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities
