Sr Engineer, Electrical Project Engineering

The Sr. Engineer, Electrical Project Engineering role at RWE Clean Energy involves overseeing the electrical systems design for onshore wind, solar, and storage projects in development.

• Design of balance of plant packages during development.
• Provide engineering project support during pre-construction, construction, and turnover to Operations.
• Ensure grid code compliance and interconnection requirements.
• Specify and evaluate major balance of plant electrical equipment.
• Conduct power system modeling and studies.
• Coordinate project engineering topics during construction.
• Manage 3rd party engineering consultants and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience in transmission design, substation design, and renewable generation project design preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong business acumen.
