Responsibilities
- Participate in Technical Due Diligences (TDD) for electrical components.
- Analyze existing generators, converters, transformers, and electrical failure modes.
- Evaluate the criticality of failure modes within electrical components.
- Support generator, converter, and transformer failure dispositions.
- Manage third-party consultants for root cause analyses of major failures.
- Lead initiatives to improve engineering quality and productivity.
- Mentor and train engineers to enhance team performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of renewable energy sector equipment, particularly utility-scale wind turbines.
- Experience in leading root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with generator and converter types and wind turbine systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage customer relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
