Responsibilities
- Work closely with mentors and department employees to apply knowledge and grow skills.
- Collaborate with a team to solve real engineering challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Apply engineering and industry concepts in practical scenarios.
- Contribute to development projects with minimal supervision.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, or project experience).
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Solidworks, Catia, NX) is a plus.
- Proficiency in heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
- Basic understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Hands-on work experience with hardware is preferred.
