Responsibilities
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
- Engage in real engineering challenges within a fast-paced environment.
- Attend regular one-on-one meetings with mentors and supervisors for guidance.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Assist in designing and testing structures and components for the Neutron rocket.
- Help in setting up launch pads and test sites across the United States.
- Contribute to the development and testing of Neutron’s new Archimedes engines.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects).
- Strong ability to work in small, high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as Siemens NX and ANSYS Workbench is a plus.
- Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and CAD is desirable.
- Experience with liquid rocket engines and Python programming is advantageous.
