Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
  • Solve real engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees.
  • Assist in designing and testing structures and components of the Neutron rocket.
  • Support the setup of launch pads and test sites across the U.S.
  • Contribute to the development of new rocket engines.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with engineering software tools (Siemens NX, ANSYS Workbench) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and CAD is advantageous.
  • Experience with liquid rocket engines and programming in Python is a plus.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks starting in August or September 2025.
