Responsibilities
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts.
- Solve real engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees.
- Assist in designing and testing structures and components of the Neutron rocket.
- Support the setup of launch pads and test sites across the U.S.
- Contribute to the development of new rocket engines.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Familiarity with engineering software tools (Siemens NX, ANSYS Workbench) is preferred.
- Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and CAD is advantageous.
- Experience with liquid rocket engines and programming in Python is a plus.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks starting in August or September 2025.
