Responsibilities
- Develop launch and mission operational concepts.
- Design and analyze orbital and suborbital trajectories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers for mission-specific requirements.
- Support hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing for trajectory verification.
- Conduct Monte Carlo simulations for launch and mission operations.
- Release flight code for pre-launch ground testing and mission operations.
- Verify readiness of Autonomous Flight Termination System (AFTS) hardware and software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with numerical modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB or similar tools.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Linux.
- Fundamental knowledge of atmospheric flight and orbital mechanics.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Ability to obtain a DoD US Government Secret security clearance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on fast-paced projects.
