Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of vehicle-level corrosion and stone impact durability tests.
- Utilize Confluence and Jira for documenting test plans, procedures, and results.
- Track test progress, timelines, and milestones for transparency and accountability.
- Ensure external test facilities adhere to Rivian test protocols and capture critical data.
- Log, categorize, and prioritize test findings; collaborate with design teams for product improvements.
- Provide technical guidance on corrosion and stone impact during product development.
- Drive optimization of testing procedures to reduce lead times and resource requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in vehicle testing, project management, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with automotive testing procedures and standards.
- Understanding of vehicle systems, subsystem interactions, and failure modes.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.
