Responsibilities
- Lead EE FA discipline and serve as SME in PCB Failure Analysis.
- Facilitate failure analysis for reliability testing and field incidents.
- Identify root causes and drive corrective actions cross-functionally.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements for electrical failure analyses.
- Mentor junior electrical engineers in failure and root cause analysis.
- Prepare and present failure analysis reports to various levels of engineering and leadership.
- Work with reliability engineering to recreate difficult failure modes.
Job Requirements
- MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in testing and analysis of electronic components and PCBAs.
- Extensive experience with Low Voltage PCBA Failure Analysis techniques.
- Proficient with electrical testing methods and common test equipment for EE failure analysis.
- Experience with high voltage electrical failures and fundamental failure analysis investigations.
- Ability to prepare formal reports and present findings effectively.
- Familiarity with rechargeable lithium-ion battery chemistries is desirable.
