Responsibilities
- Design and develop cockpit and interior trim components from concept through production.
- Collaborate closely with studio designers to achieve design themes.
- Utilize Catia V6 for product design and development.
- Engage with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders for cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop engineering bill of materials and manage changes using Enovia.
- Create DFMEAs and work with cross-functional teams on dependencies.
- Support product validation plans and coordinate validation activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry or a Master’s degree.
- Experience with instrument panels, center consoles, or soft trim development preferred.
- Proficient in Catia V6, including sketcher and part workbenches.
- Understanding of engineering first principles.
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Knowledge of automotive evaluation and regulatory standards.
