Responsibilities
- Design, develop and model plastic molded components including fascias, claddings, and trims.
- Use Catia V6/3D Experience to create high-quality 3D parametric data.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding and overmolding.
- Develop high quality 2D drawings and LD files in collaboration with DREs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CAD meets system requirements.
- Provide feedback to the studio team to generate high-quality A-surfaces.
- Create different CAD concepts and detailed 2D sections during development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Proficiency in Catia v5/v6 with high technical competence.
- Proven supplier management skills with build-to-print and full-service suppliers.
- Experience in generating 3D geometry and sectional data.
- Compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Strong logical reasoning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Desire for process improvements and high customer satisfaction.
