Responsibilities
- Design and model plastic molded components such as fascias and claddings.
- Utilize Catia V6/3D Experience for developing 3D parametric data.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes like injection molding and overmolding.
- Create high-quality 2D drawings and LD files with DREs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet system requirements.
- Provide feedback to the studio team to meet DFM requirements.
- Generate CAD concepts and detailed 2D sections during initial development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Proficient in Catia v5/v6 with high technical competence.
- Experience in supplier management with build-to-print and full-service suppliers.
- Ability to generate 3D geometry and sectional data.
- Knowledge of compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Motivation to strive for improvements and customer satisfaction.
