Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and model mechanical and mechatronic systems such as Side Mirrors, Wipers, and Chargeport Doors.
- Utilize Catia V5/3D Experience for creating high-quality 3D parametric data.
- Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing processes like injection molding and die casting.
- Produce high-quality 2D drawings and LD files in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CAD meets system requirements.
- Provide feedback to the studio team for high-quality A-surfaces.
- Generate various CAD concepts and detailed 2D sections during initial development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in automotive exterior mechanisms.
- Proficient in Catia v5/v6.
- Proven supplier management skills.
- Experience in generating 3D geometry & sectional data.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Motivated with a desire for continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction.
