Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical hardware components collaboratively from concept to launch.
- Conduct validation builds, tests, and analyses of future components, documenting processes and results.
- Perform root cause analysis of assembly and testing failures.
- Carry out tolerance analysis for new designs.
- Conduct benchmarking studies for evaluating best-in-class designs.
- Lead supplier discussions on mechanical design and development tasks.
- Exhibit curiosity and high learning agility while embodying Rivian's values.
Job Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Automotive or equivalent, or a Master's Degree.
- B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
- CAD experience, ideally with Catia V6.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T.
- Understanding of engineering first principles.
- Ability to self-direct while managing ambiguity.
