Responsibilities
- Apply reliability engineering concepts to enhance reliability of low voltage electrical systems.
- Use statistics to identify reliability trends and provide risk assessments.
- Develop tools and processes for tracking fleet health metrics for electronics.
- Facilitate root cause investigations with a focus on physics of failure.
- Review test and end-of-line data from electronic Contract Manufacturers to identify risks.
- Collaborate closely with design, validation, and manufacturing teams.
- Deploy reliability testing guidelines and innovate testing methods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Five or more years of experience in a reliability engineering role.
- Strong technical background in applied statistics and reliability.
- Proficiency in a coding language, preferably Python.
- Knowledge of Highly Accelerated Testing methods and failure mechanisms.
- Experience with PCBA reliability and working with Contract Manufacturers.
- Experience in conducting on-site audits of manufacturing facilities.
