Responsibilities
- Apply reliability engineering concepts to improve reliability for low voltage electrical systems.
- Use statistics to identify reliability trends and provide risk assessments.
- Develop tools and processes to monitor fleet health metrics for electronics.
- Conduct root cause investigations with a focus on data-driven approaches.
- Review test and end-of-line data from electronic Contract Manufacturers to identify risks.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure product robustness.
- Deploy reliability testing guidelines and innovate testing methods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Five or more years of experience in a reliability engineering role.
- Strong technical background in applied statistics and reliability.
- Proficiency in a coding language, preferably Python.
- Understanding of Highly Accelerated Testing methods and failure mechanisms.
- Experience with PCBA reliability aspects and working with Contract Manufacturers.
- Knowledge of reliability testing guidelines and innovative testing techniques.
