Responsibilities
- Apply reliability engineering concepts to improve reliability for low voltage electrical systems.
- Use statistics to identify reliability trends and provide risk assessments.
- Develop tools and processes for tracking fleet health metrics for electronics.
- Facilitate root cause investigations focusing on physics of failure.
- Review test and end-of-line data from electronic Contract Manufacturers to identify risks.
- Collaborate with teams on reliability testing guidelines and innovate testing methods.
- Monitor performance and health of vehicle control, connected car, and self-driving products in the field.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Five or more years of experience in a reliability engineering role.
- Strong background in applied statistics within reliability engineering.
- Proficiency in a coding language, preferably Python.
- Knowledge of Highly Accelerated Testing methods and failure mechanisms.
- Experience with PCBA reliability aspects and working with Contract Manufacturers.
- Ability to deploy reliability testing guidelines and invent new testing methods.
