Responsibilities
- Support the build of early electrical system prototypes and equipment racks from assembly to commissioning.
- Assist in the design and build of prototype harnesses and mechanical structures.
- Ensure all builds meet project requirements for quality and specifications.
- Coordinate with teams to leverage support for project goals.
- Act as a technical liaison with suppliers during peak demand periods.
- Lead commissioning of prototype assets, performing safety checks and troubleshooting.
- Maintain the prototype fleet and coordinate functional checks to maximize uptime.
Job Requirements
- Technical/vocational certificate in vehicle systems or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with complex electromechanical systems.
- Experience with software and hardware integration.
- Strong electrical system troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with prototype manufacturing techniques and CAD.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and excellent communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams is preferred.
