Responsibilities
- Evaluate new algorithms in the lab with senior applications engineers using FPGA, Microcontrollers, and custom Analog Front End.
- Conduct behavioral modeling of DC-DC converters using SIMPLIS and/or MATLAB.
- Contribute to product requirement documents for design teams.
- Develop collateral such as datasheets, performance reports, and application notes.
- Support the design engineering team with new control architectures.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, IC design, firmware, and systems engineering teams.
- Assist in the development of innovative power solutions for customers.
Job Requirements
- MS or Ph.D. in a relevant field focused on power management/power electronics, or MS with 2 years of industry experience.
- Experience with DC/DC converters and multiphase buck converters.
- Coursework in digital systems, Verilog, and mixed-signal Integrated Circuits.
- Understanding of control loop theory applied to power converters.
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and waveform generators.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
