Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality development and production tooling for the Terran vehicle and Aeon engine programs.
- Integrate concepts and principles of mechanical design and analysis across multiple projects.
- Interpret and apply design and drafting standards (ASME Y14.5) in tooling drawings.
- Address a wide range of technical problems related to material handling and assembly fixtures.
- Collaborate with component designers, manufacturing engineers, and integration engineering.
- Manage projects including vendor selection, fabrication, inspection, and installation of tooling.
- Utilize CAD and FEA-based analysis software for structural applications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience using CAD and FEA-based analysis software (NX and ANSYS Workbench preferred).
- 1+ years of work or project experience with design, build, and commissioning of tooling and fixtures (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM software (nice to have).
- Knowledge of ANSYS Workbench, FEMAP Pre/Post processing, NASTRAN Solver, NX Advance Simulation, Mechanica (nice to have).
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
