Responsibilities
- Own schedule adherence, risk management, and reporting for operational readiness across engineering functions.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational readiness.
- Present program updates and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
- Establish a culture of excellence in engineering operational readiness.
- Collaborate with PMOs and department leaders to integrate non-hardware workstreams into a program-level schedule.
- Establish goals and metrics to monitor operational performance.
- Standardize and continuously improve program management methodologies and tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related fields; aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience with a proven track record.
- 7+ years in a Program Management role leading large cross-functional programs.
- Experience leading cross-functional hardware teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
- A systems mindset to identify program dependencies and risks.
- Nice to have: Experience with launch vehicles or aerospace hardware; PMP or advanced degrees preferred.
