Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and supplier management for major vehicle structures ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection and capacity planning.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to influence design for manufacturability.
- Drive supplier performance through risk management and contract negotiations.
- Mentor and support team members in aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Act as a thought leader for structural commodities, improving sourcing processes and supplier health.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement with program milestones.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
- Experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace commodities.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation and milestone management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (LN, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes like machining and welding.
- Familiarity with aerospace raw materials and supplier qualifications.
