Responsibilities
- Develop loads for all hardware on the Terran R rocket from concept to data review.
- Mature hardware designs through understanding of mechanical structures and effective communication.
- Build, validate, and document finite-element and statistical energy models for load predictions.
- Develop random vibration and shock specifications for hardware qualification.
- Conduct signal processing for component loads and vibration specifications.
- Collaborate with partner teams for complex events like liftoff and touchdown.
- Engage hands-on with hardware and operations to drive programmatic change.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related field.
- Interest in system dynamics, vibration, acoustics, or similar fields.
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for engineering analysis.
- (Nice to have) Graduate degree in Engineering or related field.
- (Nice to have) Experience with data acquisition and signal processing.
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with NASTRAN, VA One, or Wave6 software.
- (Nice to have) Experience in aerospace related to launch vehicle analysis.
