Responsibilities
- Design and prototype high-power electronic circuits.
- Create time-domain control and thermal models for circuits.
- Engage in circuit board layout for high-power conversion.
- Collaborate on the selection of topologies, control algorithms, and components.
- Work in a fast-paced startup environment and tackle technical challenges.
- Mentor test technicians in design and interpreting test results.
- Conduct detailed schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium or similar software.
Job Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, specializing in power electronics.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in power conversion.
- Familiarity with high-voltage design (up to 2000VDC, 480VAC).
- Knowledge of efficiency optimization techniques and control theory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and customer feedback integration.
- Proven hands-on experience in medium-to-high volume production.
