Responsibilities
- Provide input for work instructions and procedures for electronics soldering, assembly, and testing.
- Review and interpret complex technical schematics during the build, assembly, and testing phases.
- Perform complex soldering and rework, including surface mount assembly for small components.
- Build and test multi-wire cable harnesses and conduct thorough verification testing.
- Participate in the assembly and testing of RF electronics hardware.
- Troubleshoot using various Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
- Integrate electronic components in support of rapid prototyping requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- 8+ years of direct technical experience with electronic systems, including RF subsystems.
- Strong hands-on experience with RF circuits and systems.
- Experience with soldering & de-soldering using rework tools.
- High standard of quality workmanship with attention to detail.
- One of the following certifications: J-001 for soldering, or IPC-6018 or IPC-6010.
- Familiarity with schematic and layout design in Altium Designer.
