Responsibilities
- Apply mechanical design tools, such as On Shape and Ansys, for prototype and production hardware development.
- Create released documentation using GD&T drafting standards.
- Prepare and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes.
- Support quality control efforts to maintain adherence to technical specifications.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, product design, and supply chain teams for product integration into manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to contractual requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing principles, including Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with CAD software and engineering tools, preferably Onshape.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
