Responsibilities
- Applies basic engineering principles, practices, theories, and methods.
- Uses judgment in selecting and applying engineering methods and correlating data.
- Prepares cost estimates and specifications, and conducts engineering studies.
- Plans and develops project budgets with appropriate documentation.
- Provides verification and field measurements of equipment and system installations.
- Acquires performance data from equipment/systems and validates against design parameters.
- Supports emergency response work as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or other engineering disciplines.
- Entry level to 3 years of experience in engineering design or related fields.
- Desired: EIT certificate, knowledge of engineering economics, and project cost estimating experience.
- Work or internship experience in utility engineering or related fields is a plus.
