Responsibilities
- Applies basic engineering principles, practices, theories, and methods.
- Selects and applies engineering methods and modifies standard models.
- Prepares cost estimates and specifications, and conducts engineering studies.
- Plans and develops project budgets with documentation.
- Provides verification and field measurements for new installations.
- Acquires and validates performance data from equipment against design parameters.
- Supports emergency response work as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related engineering discipline.
- Entry-level to 3 years of experience in engineering design or related fields.
- Possession or ability to acquire an EIT certificate.
- Knowledge of engineering economics and analysis.
- Experience in project cost estimating or scheduling.
- Work or internship experience in utility engineering or related fields.
- Commitment to safety and ethical conduct in business practices.
