Responsibilities
- Support the Neutron Propulsion team in FEA modeling and analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for guidance and progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Work on designing and testing rocket structures and components.
- Assist in the setup of launch pads and test sites for the Neutron rocket.
- Contribute to the development of the Archimedes engines.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0; 3.5 or above preferred.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Proficient in software such as Python, ANYS, Siemens NX, Matlab, or Solidworks.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
- Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys working in high-performing teams.
