Responsibilities
- Work closely with a mentor and department employees to apply engineering knowledge.
- Collaborate with a team to solve engineering challenges.
- Attend regular one-on-one meetings with mentors for guidance and progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Assist in fluid management tasks related to the Neutron Vehicle.
- Contribute to development projects and collaborate across teams.
- Engage in professional growth and learning opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM is preferred.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer is beneficial.
- Experience in designing, building, and testing hardware is a plus.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
