Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Design Engineers.
- Collaborate with production and business development teams during design reviews.
- Drive the evolution of the Electron launch vehicle for increased performance.
- Develop and execute ambitious Annual Operating Plans with measurable KPIs.
- Prioritize work based on business priorities and risk assessment.
- Resolve production bottlenecks and drive root cause mitigations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
- 10+ years in a complex, safety-critical design engineering environment.
- Proven experience in leading complex engineering projects.
- Demonstrated ability to build and guide high-performance teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA methodologies.
- Hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement in hardware.
