Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CFD experts to understand current CFD modeling capabilities.
- Conduct literature reviews on fluid dynamics related to technology.
- Pre-process, execute, and post-process existing and new CFD models.
- Support experimental validation of CFD models and methodologies.
- Present and document research, experiments, and findings in clear reports.
- Work within FDA's Quality System Regulation (QSR) and ISO standards.
- Maintain a detail-oriented and solution-focused approach.
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. and/or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields focused on Fluid Mechanics.
- Strong understanding of Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and Heat Transfer principles.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with CFD results.
- Expertise in CFD solvers (e.g., ANSYS-FLUENT, OpenFoam).
- Experience with turbulent flow theories and modeling.
- Proficiency in all three phases of CFD modeling (CAD preparation, Meshing, Running Simulation).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
