Responsibilities
- Provides routine professional administrative and engineering support for the engineering team.
- Creates detailed designs using AutoCAD and/or other software platforms.
- Develops and tests prototypes to validate design concepts.
- Supports cross-functional teams in developing electromechanical designs from concept to production.
- Updates part number matrix and pricing in the system of record; creates routine BOMs and completes submittals for quotes.
- Conducts feasibility studies and makes recommendations based on data analysis.
- Participates in design reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a 4-year Engineering Degree Program.
- Junior standing or above.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Ability to conduct feasibility studies and analyze performance metrics.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to take on other assigned duties.
